About Admissions

Welcome to the Admissions Office! We want you to learn as much as possible about Assumption Catholic Schools in order to make the best educational decision for you and your children.

"I chose Assumption Catholic Schools because it offers an environment in which students live their faith on a daily basis; excellence is achieved; service is celebrated throughout the year; and family is embraced. Please consider giving this gift to your children or grandchildren--especially with the daily challenges of raising them in today’s world. Tuition assistance is need-based and the awarding of tuition assistance aid is handled in conjunction with the admission process. Concerned about cost? Don’t be; many financial assistance opportunities exist. The Admissions Office is very friendly and willing to help."

How Does A Student Qualify For The Wisconsin Parental Choice Program (WPCP)?

For the 2018-19 school year, the family income of a student new to a choice program must be at or below the amount listed in the table below for the program the student is applying. If a student is continuing in any of the choice programs or was on the choice waiting list for the same Choice program in the prior year, he or she does not need to meet the income limits. Family income includes the income of the student’s parent(s)/legal guardian(s) that reside in the same household as the student applicant. If the student’s parents/legal guardians that reside in the same household are married, their income is reduced by $7,000 when determining income eligibility for the program (i.e. married family income minus $7,000 is the income amount married families compare to the tables below). Family size includes parents/legal guardians and their children by birth, marriage or adoption that reside in the same household as the student applicant.

Families with incomes below 220% of the federal poverty level are eligible to apply for the Wisconsin Parental Choice Program. The 2018-19 Adjusted Gross Income limits are shown below.

State law (Act 55) specifies that annually every public school, including charter schools, and each private school participating in a Choice program is to provide parents with a copy of the report card and their educational options. In order to meet this requirement, schools may post their School Report Card to their own website.
Schools and districts are also required to provide the list of educational options.
